How To Withdraw Money From A Permanently Limited Paypal Account

PayPal permanently limited

I have been using prolific for around two weeks. I have cashed out twice for under $15 each. When it got to my PayPal I transferred it to my bank account. Two days later my PayPal account is now permanently limited. I still have a lot of money left on Prolific. Is there any way to transfer it straight to my bank account or to fix my PayPal?

Update: I filed a complaint to BBB and I now have my account back.

i dont have a clue what you mean by "limited" your account has limitations based on the account TYPE you have. I have the small business type, but no bank info. i have the paypal debit card but im limited to some 3k in withdrawls.

so, you saying $15....i not sure. this really isnt enough info, sorry.

If your PayPal is limited it's "locked", you can't send or withdraw money but only deposit. PayPal can do this when they, for example, suspect you of fraud. It's a fairly common occurence, my account got limited years ago and I just randomly logged in after a while and the limitation was gone.

Prolific lets you change PayPal accounts if you have access to another one.

Prolific let's you change PayPal, but the PayPal in question will not be accessible if it's permanently limited until after 180 days, after which you'll be sent an email on how to remove the money therein.

I could use a family member's but I don't want to get their account limited as well

If you contact support, you may need to send proof of identification. Last year when I started doing a lot of sites that paid me through paypal, they limited it until I provided necessary information. Assumed it was for tax purposes and to verify my identify.

Try contacting support and see if they mention anything like that. It just may be permanently limited until they can verify your identity.

They don't give me a chance to provide anything even when I called support they were like there is nothing we can do you need to find a different company to use.

Contact PayPal phone support. Don't bother with chat support. If the first support agent can't/won't hear you out, hang up and keep trying until you find an agent that will help you. There are some really competent and helpful agents. You just need to connect with one of them.

I tried this they they say the same thing every time. "We found potential risk in your transactions and there is nothing we can do to override it."

Nope ,check r/Paypal and im 80% sure you aren't going to get the money back
