Magicka: Wizard Wars Leaves Steam Early Access on April 28th

Paradox Interactive has announced that Magicka: Wizard Wars will be officially released on April 28th. Magicka: Wizard Wars is a Spellcasting Action PvP game with the humor and the dynamic realtime spell system of Magicka. Players form teams of 4 and bonfire their manner across the battleground, combining magical elements on the fly to create hundreds of spell combinations with wildly varying effects. Magicka: Wizard Wars will somewhen be FREE to play.

Each player tin personalize their wizard with unique gear and Magicks, consummate with tongue-in-cheek references to popular media and current events.

With friendly fire, short rounds and unpredictable strategies, Wizard Wars gives both novice players and experienced MOBA veterans a unique tactical depth in every encounter.

The time is now to become up, ready and get to war!

As of Tuesday, Apr 14, Magicka: Wizard Wars will include:

Transgress to Progress: An all-new progression system has been added to the game, allowing players to earn tokens at each level earned, redeemable on the new Masteries Screen for new Magicks, items, and more than in a much more customizable fashion. Fashions tin also be mastered if Wizards are stylish enough.

Endeavor Before Y'all Die: New Magick Scrolls permit players to sample powerful Magicks before unlocking them, including all-new Magicks like the Frost Bomb and Stasis spells. Decide ahead of time if a brutal sub-zero death is really right for you!

Our Crowning Accomplishment: A fully revamped in-game economy allowing all items to be purchased for crowns, earnable via gameplay or available for in-game purchase. New Starter Packs are too bachelor, containing big fat piles of Crowns, Mastery Tokens, and Treasure Keys!
